Sea to Shining Sea LIVE Workshop
Learn to broadcast Live Interactive Virtual Explorations (LIVE) distance education programs from your park. Sea to Shining Sea employs a low-cost, easy to use LIVE backpack system to broadcast Sea to Shining Sea LIVE distance education programs to classrooms and audiences throughout the country. Students and teachers need only an Internet connection, a desktop or labtop computer, speakers, and a microphone to interact with National Park Service scientists, historians, educators, and rangers.
LIVE backpacks will be available for loan to all workshop participants.
This workshop is jointly sponsored by the Southern California Research Learning Center, Cabrillo National Monument, and the High Performance Wireless Research and Education Network (HPWREN).
